Out Staff Getting Camp Ready For Our Guests!!
Alex has
been enjoying himself and his family in Costa Rica where he, Carol, and their
two sons have a home. He has been leading nature and adventure tours, surfing,
and working on house projects. Carol has been teaching school, and both boys
have been in school. The entire family is looking forward to getting back to
Coloma and working for Mariah on the American Rivers. Learn more about our

Guide School 2007 on the South Fork
American River!
The snow
pack is building up, finally, and we are looking forward to an exciting and
beautiful spring! Starting mid-April we will offer North Fork 1-Day,
extraordinaire trips. In addition to 10 miles of exciting Class IV-IV+ rapids,
you will see California poppies and deep blue lupine bursting forth from 1,000
ft. high rugged granite cliffs. Wet suits and lunch are included in the price.
You may also choose to raft the North Fork one day and the next day raft the

On every
Thursday-Friday from the last week on June through August, families gather at
Mariah's beautiful riverside campground for two days of rafting, camping, meals
and entertainment by local storytellers. Join other families for wet and wild
fun, evening campfire, excellent food, and peaceful outdoor camping. Make new

Rafting and Music Weekends
We are continuing to offer our annual Music and Rafting
weekends because they are so popular! Get wet and wild during the days. During
hors d'hoeuvres and a special wine-tasting, enjoy local musicians: June 23-24
Bluegrass, July 28-29 eclectic mix of jazz, rock, and folk music with Andy's
Gang.
