February Guide Profile Nikki Doyle
Considered a "guide's guide," Nikki has worked
for Mariah for 17 years and trip-leads on all of the rivers we operate on. She
is from Australia and the accent gives her away as soon as she says "good day,
mate". She kayaks, skis, surfs the big waves, and in the winter months she can
be found leading trips in Costa Rica, Belize, and other countries. Because of
her marine biology background, she has spent part of the last two winters in
Florida, working on a hopper dredge, making sure endangered species do not

Welcome to Mariah
Mariah is
one of the largest commercial whitewater rafting companies in California and,
out of approximately 60 rafting outfitters, is the only one that is woman-owned
and operated. In addition to the raft trips we provide for the general public,
corporations, youth and church groups, schools, and ski and social clubs, we
also operate a successful program of rafting and international trips for just
women.
Women of
all ages and degrees of outdoor experience, who prefer active vacations in the
